From June 2025 we will be financing the school fees of no less than six schoolchildren. These children attend a relatively inexpensive but good private school, the Quiet Corner School. We received the names of the children from this school and have already spoken to four of them and their parents/guardians. We pay for them:
• School fees
• School uniform
• Books
• Various teaching materials
Nihal attends kindergarten at Quiet Corner School and has a hearing impairment. Fortunately, he has received government funding for a hearing aid.
His parents' financial situation is very uncertain; funding for the hearing aid has been granted for one year for now, and there may be additional costs due to their son's hearing problems.
Bhuvaneshwari is in fifth grade and doing very well. She is ambitious and wants to become a doctor when she grows up. Her younger sister Joshavi is still in kindergarten.
Their father died in a traffic accident a year ago, in 2024. Their mother works outside the home with her father, but their income is low. With our help, these two children are guaranteed to be able to attend school.
Alaesha attends preschool. Her parents are experiencing significant financial difficulties. Her father is a tomato farmer, and last season's tomato harvest was unsuccessful.
In addition, Alaesha's parents take care of his parents, especially his mother. They regularly have to take her to the hospital, which costs a lot of money. We have agreed to pay the school fees for at least two years.
The school fees amount to €650 per child per year, and we are looking for sponsors/donors to cover this cost.
In our first project, groups of friends, school classes, and company departments also supported children. You can, of course, donate less than €650. We will keep you informed of the progress of the child you are supporting.
